Sheet metal worker - $1900 per week + Overtime

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a highly respected Australian manufacturer specialising in custom-built industrial equipment.

This is a hands-on workshop position offering excellent rates, regular overtime, long-term stability and the opportunity to work on high-quality projects alongside a skilled team of tradespeople.

THE ROLE

• Fabrication and assembly of custom sheet metal components
• TIG, MIG and Stick welding across a range of materials
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Marking out, cutting, folding and fitting sheet metal products
• Working to tight tolerances and quality standards
• General workshop duties and fabrication support
• Potential for onsite installation work

ABOUT YOU

• Previous Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator experience
• Strong TIG, MIG and Stick welding capability
• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
• Experience with fabrication and assembly processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently
